DMCA & Copyright Policy
How to report infringing material, how to dispute a removal, and what we do about repeat infringement.
StreamWay respects the intellectual property rights of content creators and rights holders. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and with the equivalent copyright legislation applicable in Canada, including the Copyright Act and its notice-and-notice regime. This policy explains our procedures for addressing copyright infringement claims.
1. Our content licensing position
StreamWay operates as a reseller of IPTV subscription access and does not host, store or originate the content delivered through the Service. All channels and video-on-demand content are sourced from licensed content providers and distributors. We are committed to ensuring our operations respect applicable copyright law.
2. Reporting copyright infringement
If you are a copyright owner or an authorised agent and believe that content accessible through https://streamway.ca infringes your copyright, you may submit a written takedown notice to our designated agent.
Your notice must include all of the following
- Identification of the copyrighted work. A description of the work you claim has been infringed. Where multiple works are covered, a representative list is acceptable.
- Identification of the infringing material. The specific URL or sufficient information to locate the allegedly infringing content on https://streamway.ca.
- Your contact information. Full name, mailing address, telephone number and email address.
- Good faith statement. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- Accuracy statement. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Signature. Your physical or electronic signature.

We acknowledge receipt of valid notices within 5 business days and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the material and notifying the relevant content provider.
3. Counter-notification
If you believe content was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notification to [email protected].
Your counter-notice must include
- Identification of the removed content, including its description, URL and location before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your contact information: full name, address, telephone number and email address.
- Consent to jurisdiction: a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of Canada and will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice.
- Signature. Your physical or electronic signature.
On receipt of a valid counter-notification we forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10 to 14 business days, we may restore the content at our discretion.
4. Repeat infringer policy
StreamWay maintains a strict policy on repeat infringement. In accordance with the DMCA and applicable law in Canada:
- Accounts that are the subject of multiple valid copyright infringement notices will be reviewed.
- StreamWay reserves the right to terminate the subscription of any user determined to be a repeat infringer.
- Termination for repeat infringement does not entitle the user to a refund.
5. Misuse of the takedown process
Filing a false takedown notice is a serious legal matter. Under the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)) and equivalent laws, anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees.
